For someone who once got a fright from a Skittles ad on TV, 3D horror films are baaaad news.

And so it was with a chirny stomach that I discovered The Final Destination - the fourth installment in the movie series - is being made in 3D. It'll be out in Australian cinemas on October 1.

Cast your mind back to the year 2000 and you may recall that the original Final Destination film had a fairly cool premise (it was, after all, penned by James Wong, the same guy who wrote numerous episodes of The X-Files). After having a vision of his friends crashing in a plane, a guy tells them not to board, thus saving their lives. But it turns out death will not be cheated, and starts following the survivors, killing them one by one.

The film was memorable thanks to this scene, which made me jump clean into the air.

Not for the squeamish:

Anyway, a trailer was released yesterday for the new movie.

Here it is. Imagine this shizzle in 3D, please.

That business jumping out of the screen at you is almost as scary as watching Ricky, who decided to film a farewell message to his ex. Someone found it on his Facebook page and posted it on YouTube.

Two words: CRAZY. EYES.

No one will be surprised if this video ends up as evidence in a murder trial.
