On Friday Estée Lauder announced they’d signed two new faces, introducing Constance Jablonski and Liu Wen as the brand’s latest representatives.
Since launching their international modeling careers in 2008, arriving on the scene from France and China respectively, the pair has been nothing short of a sensation. Constance has worked with such photographers as Steven Meisel, David Sims, Inez and Vinoodh and Craig McDean, and walked no less than sixty-two shows at the recent autumn/winter 2010 collections. Liu Wen on the other hand has posed for Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Sorrenti and Terry Richardson among others, and appeared in a total of forty-nine shows this past season, including Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang and Balenciaga.
Set to appear in their first campaign in June 2010, this is the first time Estée Lauder has signed a model from both nations. Faces past and present have hailed from the US, the UK, the Czech Republic, Poland, and even as far as Ethiopia. Needless to say, by expanding their stable to include these additional countries Estée Lauder have illustrated once again that their philosophy is global, and so too is their appeal.
“We are thrilled to introduce Constance and Liu Wen to women around the world,” said Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Global Brand President, Estée Lauder. “Both models have the style and confidence that reflects Estée Lauder’s modern vision of global beauty.”
"Estée Lauder has always searched for global beauties that define a generation,” said Aerin Lauder, Senior Vice President, Creative Director, Estée Lauder. "Constance and Liu Wen are the beauties of our time” Both models have quickly captured the attention of the fashion and beauty world.”
