The rumours have been confirmed, Michael Kors is indeed the subject of Estee Lauder’s affections. As was the case with Tom Ford some seasons ago, senior vice president and creative director, Aerin Lauder (a long-time friend of Kors) has managed to coax the highly regarded, somewhat flamboyant fashion designer, into releasing a make-up line for the cosmetics giant.

In time for spring, the Very Hollywood Colour Collection, will feature two looks: "Bel Air Beige", a range of warm caramel, peach and chocolate shades, and "Rodeo Pink", which calls for us to pair various shades of pink - from vibrant to barely visible – layering them on lips, cheeks and nails - with smoky grey and graphite hues on the eyes.  A shimmery finishing powder, that complements both colour ways, will also be available.

Drawing from his design philosophy, which focuses on making beautiful, wearable clothes for women whom aspire to be both healthy and wealthy, Kors’ new line promises to be as good as a luxurious holiday or loaded husband, for that matter.
