Get a golden afterglow

Monday, July 14, 2008
If you happened to read ‘Freshen up’, you’d be well on your way to “getting the glow” by now. But how do you get it in the absence of lotions, potions and peels? By boosting your circulation, that’s how! It will warm your body, kick-start your digestive system, aid the removal of toxins and ensure you sleep uninterrupted. Start by sipping warm water infused with lemon when you wake; including ginger (fresh or dried) in your diet, and doing a little exercise each day. Do a yoga class or go for a brisk walk - anything, so long as your cheeks are flushed and your heart rate is up. Add massage and dry skin brushing to your routine - start on the soles of your feet and work up, towards your heart using long, circular strokes. And finally, try wearing socks to bed. It will balance your core temperature, enabling you a comfortable nights rest. Combined, you’ll be glowing in no time.

MelanieHick Royalty MelanieHick ON 15 Jul 2008 01:32:05PM Hehe Captain. On your own it's fine. With someone else during the night time fuzzy tingle times it's so many shades of wrong.

CaptainAwesome Royalty CaptainAwesome ON 15 Jul 2008 02:43:01PM I am shocked and offended that disgustingly graphic pornographic statements like "Night time fuzzy tingle times" are allowed on this website.

Best of beauty

I’ve been a make-up artist for the better part of a decade now: working in the fashion industry, on television commercials, music video clips and as a beauty advisor. I'll be taking this opportunity to comment on beauty in a conventional sense but also discuss how it can be found in the everyday and the seemingly mudane.
