Dirty Sexy Cool

Rag and Bone took to New York’s runway on Friday. Their clothes were draped on wiry bodies while the make-up was drawn on, well, drawn faces. Dark eyes and greasy, “piecey” hair was the look, giving the collection an air of dirty, sexy, cool - a ploy by the designers to steer it away from all-American appeal in the direction of England (their homeland) and its rock culture. Get it for yourself by tracing your lashes with kohl and smudging with a cotton tip. Follow with numerous coats of volumizing mascara (make it clumpy), before finishing with a nude, matte lip.

Best of beauty

I’ve been a make-up artist for the better part of a decade now: working in the fashion industry, on television commercials, music video clips and as a beauty advisor.
