Stitch is fine

Wednesday, July 23, 2008
I love crafty. I love arty. I like it when the spectrum bends and the two tenderly touch. Art and craft sitting in the tree ...

Japanese artist Takashi Iwasaki has a loving concept of art - seeing it everywhere that people make things.

If you like a bit of chain stitch (which I wholedheartedly DO), or a bit of stem stitch you should take a note from Takashi and remember you don't have to stitch daisies and horseshoes and bunnyrabbits ALL THE TIME.

Going absolutely abstractly crazy with some DMC can be just as amazing and just as uplifting.  This is beautiful, 3D doodling action spelling life, positive energy and goodness.
