Random acts of love

Shuffling down the street.  Its grey 'cos its Melbourne.  No one loves me.  I'm gonna go find some worms to eat.  That's what the loveless do, right?

And then the sweetest, anonymous words jump out at me from the side wall of the milk bar.   Maybe they are unrequited.  Maybe they are old and the love is dead now.  Maybe they are just a drunken joke.

But maybe, just maybe they were meant for me.
