Consumer culture is not very inquisitive. We buy, use, throw away without much thought. If something like a toaster or an electric knife breaks most people aren't really at the ready to fix it.

Photographer, art graduate and nosy parker Brittny Badger took apart a bunch of everyday items, laid out their insides and took these enigmatic photos.
