Art Toys via Mikes

Wednesday, September 17, 2008
Meet Me At Mikes have been running a community-based project that rolls handmade-love and creativity in with a charity idea to help the Mirabel Foundation.

Artists, craftstars and the like have been donating toys to help raise money and awareness for the work that the Mirabel Foundation do - that being assisting children who have been orphaned or abandoned due to parental illicit drug use.

Some of the toys go straight to kids who get to enjoy a weird and one-of-a-kind friend.  Some of the creations are being auctioned on eBay.  There have been some star critters made by some really cool peeps - and I think the highlight of the latest bunch is this lovely Ghostpatrol guy.
