It’s Like This…the new DVD resource available to help young people explain what it’s like being a young person living with cancer
A new DVD put together by CanTeen in collaboration with RedKite has been produced with the aim of giving young people something they can show their parents, to help them explain what it’s like being a young person living with cancer.
Whether it’s them, their sibling or parent who has cancer as well as if they’re bereaved, the DVD features a series of interviews with young people and parents sharing their own personal experiences.
Parents are often the biggest source of support and information but sometimes it is hard for them to really understand what it’s like for a young person. It can also be hard to explain to parents what it’s like.
