An ode to style and velocity

Friday, August 01, 2008
Style and Velocity are a very special mix on a skateboard, and Dennis Busenitz (above) is no stranger to either trait.

Just like a rabid dingo would do a packet of roo meat Dennis dissects Berlin’s Skatehalle. The back tee to front blunt is off the charts mate. Chet Childress is another stylin’ speed demon and see him here in his “ReChedit” of all his semi-recent footage. Another smooth speedster: Jason Dill gets interviewed by Don Pendleton over at the black lodges. Out of jail, the original fast styler Jay Adams just popped up in the NY times (below).

And finally I got to mention Andrew Currie, because he has been stylishly fanging all over the country for decades now. Here is his Grace section (3mins44) and here is his Money section (5mins02). Best frontside 5-0 backside 180 ever? Probably. Ruling form Cuzz.
