Bcasuse someone asked me, I thought I might tell all y'all about some face goop that I use that I actually think is swell. To be exact, my friend LOLsen said "your skin looks great, whatever you're doing don't change it." So I kept eating the choc-ices from Aldi.

The only thing that would improve all these products would be if they all came in recyclable packaging.

THE MOISTURE
These two products from Kosmea are smashing. The serum is very light, smells like roses and squirts out in the perfect amount. A little goes a long way. It has a plant extract "Myoxinol" and rose hip oil, plus you can boost he moisutre with some drops of the Skin Clinic rose hip oil. Also excellent for peeps with excema or itchy skin because it's all natural y'all. Amazeballs.

Rose hip oil $24.95 for 15 ml, Eighth Natural Wonder Revitalising Facial Serum, $69.95 for 50ml at Kosmea.com.au or David Jones.

THE SUNSCREEN
This tinted sunscreen is also smashing. It gives a light cover of colour which is rad because I cannot be arsed wearing make-up. Because it's a physical sunscreen, made of good old zinc oxide, it lasts longer and doesn't break down in sunlight like the other, cheaper stuff. It's true that it has a slightly clammy feeling on the skin, but it's not greasy, but I'll cop that for avoiding cancer/freckles.

Invisible Zinc, Tinted Daywear Light $32 from invisiblezinc.com or David Jones.

THE EYE MAKE-UP REMOVER
After years of using Lancome's amazing "two-shades of blue" oil mixture, I've switched to Dermalogica's soothing eye make-up remover. It's actually soothing, with the consistency and coolness of cucumber juice. Like Pims on your face, without the alcohol.

THE EXFOLIANT
Pauline, the lovely owner of Skin Dayspa put me on to this one. It took me a year to use one tube and yes, I did actually use it. It's a physical and chemical exfoliant. Some of you love the feeling of scrubbing at your face, so the wee grains of rice will please you. The slight glycolic content will leave your skin feeling seriously smooth. SRSLY, my favourite since Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant.

I also top it up the exfoliation with a little Liquid Gold treatment overnight, but not everyone needs that. It's a glycolic acid formula that seems to dissolve all the surface gunk that gives me hectic pores, especially on the furiously oily shoulder zone.

Microcleanse, $34.95 for 100ml, Liquid Gold, $54.95for 100ml from Alpha H or Skin Dayspa.

That is all. Go forth and be beautiful.

P.S. the super cute kid up top is NOT Punky Brewster, or me, it's Alexandra Marshall, who developed a line of organic skincare for kids called Essential Angel with her mum Kate.
