It's show time

Miss Woolly and I went to the Royal Melbourne Show yesterday to take a peek at the crafts, check out the prize steers and stallions and cop a face full of CWA scones.
It was brilliant fun and I would like to recommend it to anyone who enjoys bad art, a nice crocheted cardigan and some fierce cake decorating. Get there at around 9:30, before the hoards arrive from Langwarrin, and you can make it swiftly from the showbag stand to the preserves.
I saw many many country peeps in their genuine country people attire, such as skin-tight jodphurs, polo shirts and riding boots. It's a hot look, but it's beyond fashion because without the right riding gear, you've got a badly chaffed thigh my friend.
This weekend Jordan launched her very own range of equestrian gear. Not sure the range will wash with your average Aussie show jumper. They're pink velour tracksuits. Velour. Tracksuits. For riding.
Pretty sure there is a place for the velour tracky though. It's on a woman standing next to a shave-headed, doulbe-earringed, tattooed man called Darren smashing a massive fairyfloss to pieces. Yum.
