When I wake up it's still dark. Too dark to see the hot air balloons floating over the river. It rains on my up-do coz I have left my big brolly somewhere mysterious. Everything tells me it's time to hibernate.
As I am not a bear, and I have a job where people need me to turn up awake, I'm not able to take part in this most sensible of winter rituals. And so I am left to find stylish ways to stay warm and happy.
One is cider. Proper, scrumpy cider. The other is scarves.
This is a beautiful lazer-cut number scarf from
Little Factory. Lazer cutting, which has confused some readers in the past, is a machine-based cutting method that uses precisely guided blades to cut exact shapes. Chifun Wong creates these clever scarves and more in Hong Kong, and is a graduate of the Parsons School of Design in New York and graduated from the illustration department in 2000.
Check their site for alphabet scarves too. So Rainman. They will post you one, you know. And since Honkers is just a hop skip and jump away, your winter cheer could be here sooner than you can say grumpy hibernating bear.
