That's right, I've raided the candy store for you. No, no, don't thank me. Just use the power for good. Here's the latest (and/or greatest).
Their calls on baby milk powder aside Nestle have finally
made diversification worthwhile with a new stable of Club blocks. In particular the
peppermint cream has overtaken every minty offering on the market, including ol’skool
Peppermint Crisp. Mind you they’ll
probably yank it off the shelves as quickly as it appeared – the only
responsible thing to do is to stock up.
It is after all, part of history. Dark smooth chocolate and perfect creamy minty goodness. Shatters a
little if you're rough, but will leave your fingers worth lickin'.
Making diversification sickly sweet is purple-brother
Cadbury with their Desserts range, word on the street (or rather, the streetest
streety street of all, the internet) is don’t bother with anything but the Crème
Caramel. And eat it with your eyes closed.
Not wanting to miss out on the creamy creamy action, Coles
has hit the shelves with a budget ‘Belgian’ range. Just quietly, I doubt it’s from
Belgeria. A cruel temptation of two for
4 bucks has got many chocolate snobs out testing. Reviews are mixed – some say bland, some say
the mint chips are still stuck in their teeth and some say if you get drunk it’s
okay.
About 15 years too late, I've become saddened about the changing of the Milky Way insides recipe... it used to be browny whipped goodness yes? What's with the lump of white sugar?
Try something new, if you don’t like it, melt it down and try this… whoa oh, oh. Closer.
