When I was a child I had dreams of being like Geordi La Forge. You know, the guy from Star Trek Next Generation who wore that cool futuristic visor? Yeah, you know the one. Well the future has arrived and it pains me to admit that my vision of how life would be hasn’t quite panned out how I thought it would. There’s no Starship Enterprise, no intergalactic travels and worst of all, no electronic visors with little moving lights on them.
What we have however is something much, much cooler. Dropping this month (the present) is the latest collection of sunglasses from Sydney based eyewear maestro Graz. Having built up a sizeable reputation with his first collection and subsequent collaborations with Australian labels Chronicles of Never and Ellery, Graz has unleashed his strongest, most desirable collection to date.
Featuring his signature phaser destroying style and quality and construction so sound they could withstand a Vulcan nerve pinch (Yeah, I just said that) Graz continues to forge new paths and with each style offer the Australian public some truly inspired eyewear. If this is what the future of sunglasses will look like, then the future looks bright. Even without the electronic visors with the little moving lights.
