Variety reports that Hollywood superstar, Sandra Bullock, has broken a record that has all actress yelling "Hoorah!"

The record in question that was broken was that of a film grossing over $200 million in box office gross for having a female actor solely above the billing of the movie. Bullock has done so for the film The Blind Side, which is still in release in the US. Variety reports that this feat has not even been accomplished by such established actresses such as Reese Witherspoon, Meryl Streep and Angelina Jolie.

Not only is Bullock riding on this box office break, but she is also riding on the high of two Golden Globe nominations (for The Blind Side and The Proposal), a Screen Actors Guild nomination (for The Blind Side) and what I predict to be her first Academy Award nomination. Miss Congeniality may soon become crowned Best in Show.

The Blind Side is still screening in the Us and is set for release on February 25 in Australia.
