A Kitsune favourite, Dead Disco were the dark, brooding, all-female UK electro trio who all but disappeared after they gave us the greatness that was The Treatment, cashing in with a nice hook and catchy lyrics telling a story everyone’s been the remorseful subject of at one point or other (‘You didn’t stand a chance/But you got carried away/You know that you’ve gone too far/You should have stayed in the bar’).

But Victoria from Dead Disco’s been a busy lady indeed, dying her hair blond and impressing a whole new array of punters with her solo pop/dance styling.

With lyrics inspired by everything from Sylvia Plath to the Fibonacci sequence, she’s putting up a new song each week from her album on her MySpace, and is personally going around to people’s blogs and busting them for ripping her tracks.

She’s genius, she’s mad, she’s magic. She can get a Fluokid to sing Celine Dion or do dance moves in the toilet

She  even took on Wiley in her bedroom. Ladies…Little Boots. Little Boots…lady.

And of course there's an ultra-cute video of her in cut-offs playing around with her gear in her bedroom. It's almost a given, isn't it?
