Lucy Folk's new jewellery collection, modeled on real pasta and unveiled last night at Alice Euphemia's Cathedral Arcade store in the city, is a carbohydrate free zone. Last night stylish guests sipped champagne and munched on cooked pasta bow ties lovingly made by Lucy's mother in tribute to her daughter's new collection, while die hard fans and fashion aficionados perused the new collection.

Laid out on the balcony of Alice Euphemia's loft, Lucy's pieces were displayed in sky blue bowls accompanied by matching blue forks as if ready to be eaten, side by side with cute printed canvas bags and napkins. Real pasta woven into chains hung from the ceiling while a 'blue bow pasta path' led to the exhibition from the front door, in true fantastical, Wizard of Oz style. Guests could order the handcrafted jewellery on site, but don't fret; if you missed out the exhibition will be running at Alice Euphemia until the 11th of April and orders can be placed in store.

Lucy's new collection is inspired by pasta and includes silver and gold pasta bow tie and penne necklaces, rings and bracelets. With all the nostalgia of childhoods spent gluing pasta to jewellery boxes, haphazardly adorning birthday cards with glitter splashed spaghetti and threading any kind of wheat product with a hole in the middle onto coloured string to hang around you neck, Lucy's collection definitely touches on something we can all relate to...
