The official Game Critics awards from E3 2009 have finally been announced. The awards are voted on by editors from 29 gaming publications including leading magazines and websites, and are considered the most prestigious (and accurate) awards presented at E3 each year.

Here are this year's winners, which will thrill Sony, who picked up the Best of Sony and Best Console Game awards for Uncharted 2. Microsoft wasn't as successful, but picked up the award for the best hardware with their dazzling Project Natal motion-sensing technology. Nintendo went home empty handed.
