Look of the week 17 showcased menswear from the streets of Tokyo. That got me thinking about how interesting menswear actually is right now and how you could translate that across to women. Women first started to rock menswear in a major way during WW2 and we haven't looked back. From putting on our boyfriends' shirts to stealing their trackie dacks we just can't get enough of their stuff. But what about buying menswear? Some women swear by it but others are too scared to even walk into a store. I thought this week I would explore the notion of menswear as womenswear. What better way to explore this idea then to set up a shoot at Australia's premiere menswear store, Comeback Kid, where I can play with the racks of clothes experimenting with what does and doesn't work.
