How old is too old to emo

So Robert Smith and The Cure have announced a new album. But how old is too old to emo?

Dude is my Mum's age, and I'm not so sure if when I'm her age, I'll still be feeling the same way I feel now. Smith obviously does, he's still thrashing out the same tunes that made the band back int he 1980s. Yes the 1980s, that long ago.

I saw The Cure at a rock festival in France a couple of years ago and while they were still awesome, I'm not so sure a fifty year old emo is convincing. I mean I am 21 now, and there's plenty of people in my life telling me to grow out of it.
