This is The Lou Diamond Philharmonic's 2nd mix-tape and the first one being Jose Chavez Y Chavez mixtape that I didn't think Brandon Muir musician/pop artist could top.Boy I was wrong,TLDP uses movie quotes mixed with electronic keyboards and mashed up so well it will go down nice and soothe your untamed soul.

The Kings Goatee is his the name of the 2nd mixtape that TLDP was so hospitable enough to let us download for free.

First I had to catch up with Brandon Muir and ask him a couple of question since we are falling for his talents like everyday.

Interview with The Lou Diamond Philharmonic

A movie you would've liked to been in?
"Boyz in the Hood". I think my presence would have given that movie a surrrrrious edge. Also, I would have loved to have scored the music for "Weekend at Bernies 2". I'm talking 60 piece orchestra type shit. That would have saved that movie for sure.

Summer or Winter?
Summer. Break out the muscle-t and the cocoa butter.

Who would you like to interview?
R Kelly. I'd avoid anything contoversial to get him on my side. Then I'd ask him to sing "Real Talk" accapella for me. Yeah, that would be just tops.

Favorite instrument?
Pianos, keyboards, anything with keys. I wish I had learned to play the saxaphone when I was younger. I would have had it in tow on all my awkward dates. Anytime a girl would start to go sour I'd just break out the sax and start playing Wham's "Careless Whisper" and everything would work out just fine.

If you were given one million dollars what would your first purchase be?
I would invest in hair growth technology, so some scientist out there can give me a bitching 3 foot flat-top. Or maybe I'd just buy a bunch of music equipment.

Which song have you made that you like the best?
I don't really have a favorite but "Waisaisa" will always come to mind right away. It was the first track that I started working on with this project. My best friend and I have been quoting the line "Say What, Say Huh? I Like Dyat." from House Party 3 for about 15 years now. It's the most random movie quote but it always stuck with us.

Are you a Lou Diamond Phillips fan?
Totally. Ever since "La Bamba". But, I was really disinterested with the Richie Valens story. I really just wanted to watch a movie about Bob (his ne'er-do-well brother). I don't think I'm alone in that sentiment. Esai Morales killed it in that movie.

What would you like to tell all the little kids out there?
You can't always win friends with pop-culture references. But they're probably not people you wanna hang with anyway.

Funniest movie ever?
Um... Big Lebowski. That's the real talk/no bullshit answer. If you don't like that film than you're some kinda gimp. Just jokes.... no but seriously.

White or Wheat Bread?
Wheat.. with cheese.

Always a pleasure-. Brandon
