It's Always Midnight Somewhere pt 1 got heaps of good feedback on the web. Seems like Whize doesn't leave the lab these days, which is great for us. How great?  Lets just say It's Always Midnight Somewhere pt 2  could be better than part 1, plus we have an Interview an exclusive track made just for Day & Night Blog. Excited yet? Be very very excited.

The unreleased exclusive track is called Phoenix. Enjoy

An interview with Whize.

D&N : When did you start making music, and do you know of any artist named Dj Nightlight (inside Joke).

Whize : Lol, that's an awful name, I don't know who would pick a name like that. As far as making music, Ive been at it for about 5 years now.

D&N : If there was one place you could go right now to live and play music where would it be?

Whize : Japan, hands down. My recent tracks have been very Asian inspired, and I have really fallen in love with the style of music they make, I love the culture.

D&N : Since 09 is coming to an end give us a couple of bands that blew you away this year.

Whize : Two of my favorite all time bands had amazing albums drop this year, Thievery Corporation with 'Radio Retaliation', and Zero 7's 'Yea Ghost' both were on constant repeat for me. But also, Mayer Hawthorne and his new album, as well as a somewhat unknown guy '40 Winks' really got me inspired.

D&N : Your new EP is dropping after new years to start the year out right. What's the name of the EP and what can the people expect to hear.

Whize : The album is titled 'It's Always Midnight Somewhere', and people should expect simple but sweet music. I don't believe in over complication, and I like to speak through my music with as little as possible, and I think this album reflects that.

D&N : If you could resurrect one of the many dead celebrities this year who would it be?

Whize : Leonardo DaVinci, lol he was the OG artist, and will always be a celeb to me.

D&N : In 09

Whize : I don't keep up with Celebs @$#% this is a retarded question. ( haha)

D&N : Just answer the question.

Whize : Heath Ledger, he gave Villainy the respect it deserved, and then passed before anyone could let him know how good of a job he did.

D&N : Well Heath died in 08, but that's probably all I'm going to get from you Whize guy.(haha.. Love messing with you) Thanks for putting up with these questions and can't wait to hear more of your music.
