There once was a man called David Saunders, who started out as an artist, spending time as
Tracey Emin’s assistant and creating hand-printed block-art prints.
He lived in England.
Then one day, a man named Gareth Pugh, who was well regarded amongst the fashion set, decided he was to leave London and move to Paris.
London was sad, and cried "We need the Next Big Thing!"
Lucky for them Saunders had taken to using a needle and thread and had created his very own label,
DavidDavid.
With more colour and geometric prints than a catwalk could ever ask for, his S/S 09 collection was declared to be amazing! So amazing that London even asked its favourite party girl, Alice Dellal to model the garments.
London ached with happiness looking at all the bright prints and people like Sam Taylor-Wood, M.I.A, Agyness Deyn, Daisy Lowe, Patrick Wolf, and the Klaxons all rejoiced with happiness.
The end.
