We've had indie music cookbooks and now we've got us some indie colouring in books too.

"Kids today might have the internet and Pixar, but they're forced to live in a world without "Thundercats" or "Silverhawks" or "Defenders of the Earth". What are kids supposed to color in pictures of these days? Dora the Explorer? Please."
     - The Pitchforks.

Fortunately, kids on earth have the very wonderful Andy J. Miller to help them out. Last year, Miller made Colour It (Red), a book of disarmingly cute kids' puzzles inspired by his favourite indie rock hits. It was a benefit for the (Red) organization, which raises money for the AIDS-fighting Global Fund.

And guess what? This July, Miller will be back with another indie rock kids' colouring book for charity. Hurrah! Hurrah.

PS. For those of you playing at home, here's what it looked like last year. (And you can go here to read all about the stars; Sufjan, LCD, Newsom, Feist and BSS who inspired it.)
