Stop whatever else you're doing, because right now it's all about i-D magazine and England. That's right, kids. It's 12 British faces, both past and present, all together for i-D's March 2009 Best of British issue.

England has developed somewhat of a reputation for producing the 'It girls' that have dominated so many of our favourite editorials over the last two decades. Now, 12 of England's best, most iconic models are being featured via a series of covers, shot by Sølve Sundsbø and styled by Edward Enninful. (Fashionologie have suggested that they, "deserve the Victoria Cross just for wrangling Naomi.")

NB: Apparently, "British models always have personality" so to further the emphasis on their personality, each cover face has her own cover quote summing up her outlook. Read their quotes, idolise their British beauty and admire their editorials.
