I blame one person and one person only for my recent act of online shopping mania - my cat, Aqua.
Yes, technically she's not a 'person' but the turn of phrase doesn't work if you replace 'person' with 'cat' - so bear with me.
My cat is an asshole. She wants my affection
ALL THE TIME which annoys me and so I ignore her, which then triggers her downward spiral of insecurity and depression. And when she's depressed she mopes and walks around meowing like an asshole. I know it's my fault for being heartless and I do feel guilty.
And when I feel guilty I shop.
So since I've been toying with the idea of sending her to live with someone who actually has a heart, I've also been shopping. A lot.
