Pop Levi

Pop Levi - multi-instrumentalist, son of a Jewish doctor, real name Jonathan - kickstarted his career in music after moving to Liverpool (European Capital of Culture 2008 and all round great city). Twas here that that he met scouse muso Danny of Ladytron fame, and ended up playing bass for them on tour, while also forming his own band Super Numeri.

Now Levi has high-kicked out of the shadows with his solo album Never Never Love on Ninja Tune, blending Bolan-esque glam rock, the electro funk of Prince, and a way with a pop hook that would make Xenomania proud.
