On the list of directing gigs that take the most balls, ranking somewhere up there with being hired to capture a TV-worthy performance from Amy Winehouse on a Monday morning, shooting inside Chernobyl's "zone of exclusion" has got to rank pretty highly. London based Dave Ma led  a crew there for Manchester band Delphic to capture life inside the site of 1986's nuclear explosion. On their way out they were screened for radiation. Just like a Wino shoot then, ho ho.

If you only watch one video out of this bunch make it this one (Quicktime here)...

Arctic Monkeys have pulled out all the stops for the first video from third album Humbug, roping in IT Crowd / Mighty Boosh actor Richard Ayoade to direct, and growing their hair for maximum wind machine action. It's as if their new locks have weakened their ability to entertain...

Compare that snoozathon with Richard Ayoade's turn as a rapping barman in this dream sequence music video "I'm a One Track Lover", from 2006's unforgivably short-lived "Garth Merenghi's Dark Place". Much better...

Proving that the humble mobile phone is now the busiest working actor in music videos, it's N.A.S.A. feat. M.I.A., Santigold, Spankrock, asking "Whacha Doin?" Erm, putting off work, watching vids, what of it?

Kate Moss will judge on a new talent show that aims to find the next supergroup, according to UK rag The Mirror. This is what happens when Kate's TopShop boss Phillip Green teams up with Simon Cowell to create a media/music/fashion/entertainment type concern. Kate, of course, is no stranger to music and according to the publicist source, spotting bands, and musicians worth jumping on, is the one issue outside fashion she's really confident on. Needless to say, this will be required viewing.

Wonder if Kate will advise all singer's to smoke, at all times. Here she shows them how it's done while performing with Babyshambles...

And here's Kate performing in the back of a van. Tragically, she's not the one with a mic, as her hands are full...

10/10.
