Tom Haines' "Shake, Shake, Shake" promo for Texas band
White Denim was one of the standout performance videos of recent times, so it makes sense that the band went back for more gritty/funny exploitation action for banging new track "I Start To Run".
Things get off to a great start with the band being held hostage by crazed rednecks in the desert, (Girls Aloud, please steal this idea) promising a grindhouse experience it doesn't quite deliver on ultimately (extended R-rated version, stat!). The bassist puts in a great performance though on running duty. Well done, that man.
Still, it's better than most garage rock videos, even if there are no explosions or titties, so two and a half cheers for
